Imber Range Perimeter Path Walk 1 July 2000

On July 1 I am walking part, or all, of the Imber Range Perimeter Path, along with a group of over 20 people. We are doing this partly to celebrate Ian Hayward's birthday, but also to raise money for charity.

The Imber Range Perimeter Path runs around the western half of Salisbury Plain, skirting the military training area, which contains the uninhabited village of Imber. In total the walk is 30 miles, which we have split into seven approximately equal sections . Some people will walk just one or two sections, others will walk the whole route (taking approximately 12 hours).
