Science fiction wargames

I am not generally a missive fan of science fiction wargames, normally happier dabbling in historical games, but a few SF games do stand out as worthy of repeat play.

Triplanetary by GDW

Probably the best board game ever made. The rules are so simple, but it proves a challenging game to master. Any game that can keep you amused for hours, despite only having one counter for each player, deserves praise.

Like Dungeons and Dragons...but with more thinking.

Full Thrust

A fun miniatures game. Anything with vector movement is worth playing (see Triplanetary above!).
