The Germans (defenders)

The German forces were determined by the card pack detailed in Chuck Parrott's solo rules.

Drawing a king card (non-diamond) indicates a vehicle. In this game I then rolled 1D6:
• (1-2) Hanomag
• (3-4) PAK 40 75 mm AT gun
• (5) StuG III assault gun
• (6) Pz IV tank

I used 15 hidden markers for the enemy, following Chuck's suggestions for a medium game. I used one "reserve force" joker in pack. The Germans were deployed to the N of, but not including, Farm Able. The hidden markers were spread across the features/buildings, with some as far back as Farm How.

I didn't want to bookkeep the experience level of each squad, so I decided that all defenders would be veteran (i.e. all clubs and hearts would count as spades).
