Andrea has suggested the following way of celebrating this major event:

We have a quick stroll around Salisbury Plain on the Imber Range Perimeter Path. It's about 30 miles of relatively flat walking.

And we raise some money for charity doing it.

So who's up for it, eh?

There should, of course, be time for larking around, admiring the scenery, remembering past glories (Ayad in the mud, for example).

There will also be time for larking around at the barby that will be held at our house after the walk, to which you are all invited, both walkers and wimps!

It goes without saying that I'd like as many of you as possible to come along; it should be a larf.

And I expect a particularly high turnout from Team Charlie, of course.
