Nimitz scaled rulers
3/4 scale
Sam Mustafa's WWII naval combat game Nimitz is normally played on a 6' by 4' table (1.8 m by 1.2 m).
I play on a smaller blue felt sheet that is about 6' by 3.7' (1.8 m by 1.1 m), using 1/4800 scale ships.
I therefore decided to change the scale by 75%, giving 3/4" steps rather than the normal 1".
I made a custom range and movement rulers to make things easier (no need to keep multiplying by 0.75). A link to a PDF is below.
Artillery/torpedo ruler
One ruler is primarily for gunnery and torpedo ranges, and comes in two parts. It is designed to be wrapped round a 11 mm square section dowel.
The design has overlaps so that you can either overlap the two parts of the ruler, or cut them off and do butt joins. You can also overlap round the ruler (which is why there are six 'sides' on the design, not four).
Movement ruler
This is a shorter one-sided movement ruler. I printed it on thin card to make it easier to plot turns (by temporarily bending the card).
