Min Headroom electricals
National lighting
Chosen arbitrarily. Knightsbridge, Screwfix etc. have others that may be suitable. Key data are indicated in bold below.
Dimmers not needed (will be using Philips Hue lights).
Suggest all in matt white.
Suggest two lighting runs, each one with two 2 m strips and a connector. This will give some room at the ends before the walls. Could do longer (using cut-down rails) if spanning the ceiling would make things easier for the connections.

Headroom
17 mm (track) + 140 mm (light at lowest) = 157 mm.
On original drawing (see below) ceiling appears to be 2120 mm.
Lowest light would be is (2120 - 157) mm = 1963 mm = 77.28 inch = 6 foot 5.28 inches.
Info from Mel: "internal floor to ceiling height is 2192 mm".
Lowest light would be is (2192 - 157) mm = 2035 mm = 80.11 inch = 6 foot 8.1 inches.
This looks to be sufficient headroom.
