Eisenhower counter generator
I needed to make some counters to start playing the game as I didn't have enough miniatures. A project that started as a PDF expanded and became a web page where you can generate the counters and the command post sheets to play one of the scenarios.
The counter generator can be started as a blank sheet Eisenhower counter generator, configured, and then saved (as a web address with parameters).
This allows you to easily create and save counter sheets for scenarios.
The settings

The settings are fairly self-explanatory.
Update URL with parameters and reload. Use this after you have set up the page for your corps. It generates a new link to the page with all the settings as parameters of the web address, and reloads the page. Bookmark the page to save your work.
Counter size / mm. The page is designed to give correct sizes for A4 landscape printing. If you use a different size paper or orientation you will need to do a test print and tweak the counter size.
Style. This can be 'Symbol' or 'Silhouette'. The former can be used with all nationalities. I have not created silhouettes for all nationalities yet; symbols are substitued for them if they do not exist. Silhouettes will not show unless if a nationality is not selected.
Nationality National flags/roundels will not be displayed if this is left blank. Also, you will not be able to update the URL
Colours
The colours of the counters can be any of the named HTML colours or, if prefixed with a '#', any of the six-character colour codes . See https://htmlcolorcodes.com/color-names/ and https://htmlcolorcodes.com/color-picker/ for details.
If you leave the bottom bar colour or ball colour blank, these items will not be displayed on the counters.
Silhouettes
I used Tom Mouat's excellent WW2 tanks and WW2 soldiers fonts for generating the silhouettes. These can be found on his site and easily viewed on, for example, www.dafont.com: Tank font; Soldier font.
Please contace me if you think I have not used the most suitable silhouettes, or if you would like to suggest ones for the French and Italian armies (I have not created silhouettes for all nationalities yet; symbols are substitued for them if they do not exist).
For each army I need silhouettes for:
- infantry (leg)
- infantry (lorried)
- infantry (mechanised)
- armour
- armour (superior)
- armour (infantry support)
- tank destroyer
- cavalry
The command post sheet
The command post sheet is a little different from the standard one.
It is tailored for our preference of using 40 mm diameter poker ships to track operations and stockpiles.

Scenarios
Links to generate counter sheets for some of the Eisenhower scenarios are on the right.
If you generate a counter sheet for a scenario not listed there, please would you send the URL to me and I will add it to this page.
Tips
- The sections of the command post sheet are only populated when a division name is entered. Put spaces (" ") in the division name fields If you want to generate a command sheet with division sections with colour bars, but no divison names.
